Divine is the first Berry Blue variety selected in Peru’s tropical environment. Lacking end-dormancy, it requires no chilling hours. Its flat, medium-sized berries are exceptionally firm, juicy, and crunchy, boasting the highest sugar-to-acid ratio of any Berry Blue release – perfect for premium products like Sweet Selections.
Divine has shown strong performance in organic and soilless production, with a compact, low-vigor bush. It excels in early-season fresh markets and has good storage ability.
First trials of Divine were planted in Georgia, USA, in late 2022, with evaluation in the 2025 season.
